Brian Lowe
I’m so excited to get the opportunity to work with you and your child at LFE. My name is Brian Lowe, and it’s a great honor to serve as your principal for the 24-25 school year, and in the years ahead! I have been fortunate to work in education as an elementary principal for 27 years. This is my 34th year in education and I’ve enjoyed every minute! I have no plans to slow down anytime soon!
I earned my teaching degree at U.M.K.C. (Go Roo’s!) and soon after I started my career in Olathe, KS as a fifth-grade teacher. I served as a teacher for 5 years and then I become an Instructional Coach for the district. After serving in that instructional role and earning my Master’s Degree, I was promoted to principal. I served as principal in KS for 26 years in Olathe (including 13 years at Meadow Lane, and 9 years at Brougham). After leaving KS, I was fortunate to join the Blue Springs School District last year at Delta Woods Middle School as the 6th grade Assistant Principal and Athletic Director.
Outside of school, you will find me spending time with my family. My wife, Heather, is also in education and serves as an instructional coach in Olathe. We are proud parents of four children and two grandchildren. We have one grown son, and 3 girls with the youngest being a senior in high school. I tend to be busy on the weekends with my children’s activities, but it is the highlight of life to be a parent! My hobbies include playing tennis and also singing at church.
I’m looking forward to building relationships and making incredible memories at LFE! It’s going to a year to remember!
